1. The consular services office at the Republic of Korea Embassy in France has been remodeled to resemble a Hanok (traditional Korean house) courtyard.
2. The remodeling of the ROK Embassy in Hanok style is a result of the project that the Foreign Ministry is working on with Jeollabuk-do (north Jeolla province) to make overseas mission buildings “exhibition halls on Korean culture.”
3. The Foreign Ministry, in cooperation with Jeollabuk-do, has so far remodeled the Embassies in Oman and France as well as the Consulates-General in Guangzhou and Seattle to showcase Korea’s cultural beauty and excellence and will use them as venues for diplomatic activities.
