1. On February 14, Foreign Minister Kim Sung-Hwan had a telephone conversation with his UK counterpart William Jefferson Hague and discussed ways to work together regarding North Korea’s nuclear test.

  o The Foreign Ministers of the ROK and the UK had telephone talks immediately after North Korea’s missile launches in April and December of last year. This is the third telephone conversation.

2. Minister Hague strongly condemned the latest nuclear test by North Korea and stressed the need for stern measures by the UN Security Council in response to the test. The two countries agreed to continue to closely consult on North Korea’s nuclear test.
